Staggered Entry

Our first day in Kindergarten was such a great adventure! We started by learning new routines that will help us each day, like where to put our backpacks and how to line up. Everyone was so excited to meet new friends, and we practiced sharing and taking turns together. After reading The Pigeon Has to Go to School, we went on a fun scavenger hunt around the school, which even led us to the gym where we played and explored. We also got our first-day pictures taken, and we are excited to hang them up around our room to make it feel even more special. Later, we joined the Kindergarteners in Ms. Yvonne’s class, and it was so much fun to play and explore with them. Our amazing EAs, Ms. Brooklyn (all day) and Ms. Angie (in the afternoons), helped us along the way and made sure we felt safe and happy. It was a wonderful first day, and we can’t wait to see what next week brings!
