We started the week with finishing up our parent gifts, making cards, and picking out bows. We hope you enjoy these hand-crafted gifts as much as the students enjoyed making them! We also got to spend some time at the IREC Christmas market, picking out a special surprise for a very important person in our lives, it was a hard choice but the students did wonderfully! I am so proud of their behaviour this week, despite it being such a busy and exciting time, both classes have demonstrated what amazing Kindergarten Leaders they are, remembering the classroom and school rules, and showing kindness, responsibility, and respect in everything they do.
We said goodbye to a very important person in our classroom, Ms. Brookelyn, who has made the decision to go back to school. We thank her for all the care, support, and kindness she has shared with our students, and we wish her all the very best as she begins this exciting new chapter. Our new EA, Ms. Mascha (Pronounced "Maw-sha" has been in our classroom briefly in the afternoon before the break and brings valuable experience, warmth, and enthusiasm to our learning environment. We are excited to welcome her and look forward to her working more closely with our students.
Finally our week ended with a Christmas Party and a Movie day! It was a great two days filled with fun, laughter, and the added joy of seeing our friends in Ms. Yvonne's class. It was a busy week filled with lots of learning and laughter, the perfect way to end 2025 and begin the holiday break.
I hope each family gets to enjoy the holiday season and spend special time together, making memories, resting, and recharging for the new year ahead.
