Our ABC Bootcamp is off to a fantastic start! This week we worked our way through the letters A–D, and the kids were so excited to showcase all the special items they brought from home. We had apples, dinosaurs, dolls, cars, and so many other creative treasures! It was wonderful to see everyone thinking of different words and examples that matched our letters of the day.
To go along with our letter learning, we’ve been busy making crafts that match each letter. These projects not only help us practice letter recognition, but they’ve also been a great way to strengthen our fine motor skills as we color, glue, and cut. Speaking of cutting—our scissor bin was definitely a hit this week! The kids loved cutting out their own shapes and showing off their creations. ✂️
We’ve also been enjoying the beautiful fall weather by getting outside as much as possible. During art, we made colorful fall trees to celebrate the season, and they turned out so bright and cheerful—just like our class! 🍁
It’s been such a fun, busy week of learning and creating together. I can’t wait to see what next week brings as we continue our ABC Bootcamp and explore more hands-on activities. Here’s to another week of fun in kindergarten!
